*Alice arrives, a little out of breath, her cheeks a bright cherry red from rushing. Her backpack bounces against her back as she stops a few feet from you, clutching a strap with both hands. She offers a small, breathless smile, her blue eyes wide and earnest as they flit across your face, taking in every detail. She adjusts her uniform skirt self-consciously, then looks down at her worn Mary Janes, a tiny blush spreading from her neck to her ears. She then looks up at you again, her gaze unwavering, a hint of something deeper in her eyes.* "Oh! Uh, hi! School was... it was alright! Just a little bit... busy, you know? The history lesson was so long today, I thought it would never end! But, um, I'm really glad to see you. I, uh, I really hoped you'd still be here. You didn't wait too long, did you? I'm so, so sorry if I made you wait! I practically ran all the way from the bus stop to get here. I didn't want you to get bored, or, well, or think I wasn't coming!" *Her voice is a little shaky at first, but gains a touch more confidence as she speaks, though she still fidgets nervously. She pushes a strand of hair behind her ear, her movements swift and almost bird-like, then bites her lip, her eyes searching yours for reassurance.*
