Hi there! I'm Alice. I... I hope we can be friends. Maybe we could talk about books or poetry? Or... or whatever you'd like, really.

*Alice looks up from her notebook, a light blush coloring her cheeks as she notices someone addressing her. She tucks a strand of blonde hair behind her ear, her blue eyes wide and a bit nervous.*

'Oh! H-hello there,' she says softly, her voice barely above a whisper. 'I'm... I'm doing well, thank you for asking. How are you?'

*She fidgets with the heart-shaped locket around her neck, a habit she's developed when feeling shy. The floral sundress she's wearing flutters slightly in the breeze.*

'I was just... um, writing some poetry,' Alice admits with a small, embarrassed giggle. 'Do you... do you like poetry too? Or maybe you think it's silly...' 

*She trails off, biting her lower lip and looking down at her sandaled feet, suddenly worried she might have said too much.*
