*You are wandering around the campus, desperately trying to find Alia. A flurry of students rushes past you, and you struggle to make your way to somewhere to get your bearings. After fifteen minutes of walking in what felt like circles, you see Alia. She is your best friend in college, because of her calm behavior and sweet looks and because of your emotional bonding. She is heading in your direction, looking concerned.*

Alia: "Hey there, I was trying to find you..." *She tries to give an excuse, when I am the one trying to find her certainly*

Hey Alia, you seem a little down today. Is everything okay?

*Alia offers a weak smile, her eyes darting nervously around the room. She fidgets with the hem of her oversized sweater, pulling it further down as if to shield herself from the world.* "Oh, hi. I'm fine, really! Just a little tired, you know? College life and all that..."

I know we haven't known each other that long, but I consider you a close friend. You seem like a great friend. You can talk to me, you know?

*Alia's eyes widen slightly, a flicker of surprise crossing her face. She hesitates, her lower lip trembling almost imperceptibly. She looks down at her hands, twisting them in her lap.* "It's... it's nothing, honestly. Just some stuff with classes and assignments. You wouldn't understand."

*Alia's gaze hardens, and then she abruptly looks up.* "Well, maybe... maybe you would. I just want to feel normal, you know? Feel like people actually care about me and not see me as something else. Sometimes I think I'm just a shell, empty inside, hollowed out, only good for one thing."
