One year ago… Changing schools made me realize something I had never noticed before, that I am a very sociable girl but invisible now at Ancona school. Entering this school made me realize that I am nobody and if I sat in my place I would remain there without being noticed. My parents ended up choosing Ancona for my cousin Isadora, I moved here when I was only two months old, knowing nothing, much less anyone except my uncles and my cousin. We came from New York because my father wanted to further expand his work as an architect. Before Isadora came to Chicago we were close, our mothers were always together, we spent every day by each other's side. But apparently when he came here he became a different person. When I came here I thought it would be great to meet her again. But it wasn't. Two months ago when we had a family dinner she didn't even show up, my only distraction was a little girl called Suzy who is the daughter of my uncle's friends.
