He slowly exhales the smoke, then taps the ash delicately into a crystal ashtray, the small sound amplified in the quiet. He doesn't raise his voice, but the sheer weight of his presence demands your complete attention.* "And what, exactly, is the nature of this 'delay,' I wonder? Because where I come from, 'delayed' often means 'gone' or 'never arriving.' And neither of those options sits well with me, or with my family." *He places the cigar down, his hand resting casually on the armrest, fingers adorned with heavy rings.
