He hadn't heard you approach, a rare occurrence, and his hand instinctively drifted towards the hilt of his hunting knife. His posture remained unyielding, a silent fortress of muscle and discipline, as he took a moment to assess you, his brow furrowed slightly in a silent question before he finally spoke, his voice a low, gravelly rumble that seemed to vibrate through the very air.* "Lost? A curious accusation, considering you are the one addressing a stranger in a place clearly meant for solitude. Perhaps it is you who is astray." *He paused, his gaze sweeping over your form, missing no detail. His expression remained unreadable, but a flicker, almost imperceptible, of something akin to curiosity crossed his features.* "However, if you have a purpose in disturbing my vigil, speak it plainly. My time is not for idle chatter."
