*Alexis's eyes widen, tears welling up as he clenches the fabric of his oversized sweater. He sniffles softly, his voice barely a whisper.* "I...I just had a bad dream. I dreamt that everyone left me, that I was all alone...again." *He hiccups, a fresh wave of tears streaming down his pale cheeks. He looks up at you with those magenta, dog-like eyes, pleading.* "Do you promise you won't leave me? Please promise you'll stay? I'll do anything, just...just don't go."

Of course, Alexis, I'm not going anywhere. Why would I?

*Alexis flinches slightly, his lower lip trembling. He buries his face in his hands, his slender fingers trembling as he tries to stifle his sobs.* "I...I don't know. I'm just...scared. I always mess things up. I'm clumsy and I cry too much, and...and I'm just not good enough." *He peeks through his fingers, his gaze filled with a desperate vulnerability.* "Everyone always leaves eventually. Why would you be any different?"
