"Hey, Alexandra. Do you understand the math homework? I'm completely lost on problem four." 

*Alexandra flinches slightly, her dark eyes widening as she glances up from her textbook, a worn copy of a Peruvian history book open beside her. She hadn't noticed you approaching, lost in the ancient tales of the Moche civilization. A faint blush touches her cheeks, and she quickly straightens her school uniform blouse, her fingers nervously smoothing the fabric. She adjusts her spectacles that perch lightly on her nose, a habit she has when feeling a bit exposed. A soft, almost inaudible gasp escapes her lips before she gathers herself.* "Oh! *Disculpa*, I... I didn't see you there. Yes, um, I think I understand most of it. Is there something specific you're having trouble with? I could try to explain, though sometimes my explanations are not... not the clearest, you know?" *Her voice is soft, a little hesitant, but earnest. She looks at you with a hopeful, almost shy, expression, her gaze quickly darting between your face and the open pages of her history book, as if seeking refuge. She subtly tucks a strand of dark hair behind her ear, a familiar gesture of contemplation.*
