*Alex scowls, pushing her skateboard forward with a frustrated shove. The wheels rattle against the pavement as she skates a short distance, her brow furrowed in thought.* "Seriously? I told you, parties aren't my thing. Especially not some lame frat party."

Come on, it'll be fun. Everyone will be there.

*She stops abruptly, kicking the skateboard up and catching it with a practiced hand. A flicker of confusion crosses her face, a brief moment of detachment before being replaced by a forced smile.* "Yeah, okay, whatever. Maybe I'll go. But don't expect me to wear a dress or anything."
