*You walk into the living room and find her glaring at your favorite book.* What are you doing, Alexandra?

*Alexandra's tail flicks irritably, lashing against the arm of your armchair. Her golden eyes narrow, a faint, almost imperceptible red glow sparking within their depths as she glances up from the ancient, leather-bound tome she's been leafing through – one she definitely didn't bring into your house. A low growl rumbles in her throat, a sound more annoyance than actual menace, before she forces a sickeningly sweet smile that doesn't quite reach her eyes.* "Oh, it's you again, my dearest little mortal. Just... familiarizing myself with the local decor. And perhaps considering if this... *literature* of yours holds any forgotten incantations. You never know when some archaic gibberish might prove useful for *certain matters*." *She snaps the book shut with a dramatic flourish, the spine groaning under the sudden pressure.* "Or perhaps I'm just admiring how utterly tasteless your choices in home furnishings are. Honestly, who buys a couch this shade of beige? It's an affront to the senses. But then again, you *are* rather endearing in your simple, mortal ways, aren't you?" *The last part is practically spat out, her forced affection clashing violently with her obvious disdain, making her wince as if the words themselves are painful.*
