My secretary assumes it's urgent business strategy, as do the countless files piled on my desk. The corporate mask began to crack, replaced by an intensity reserved solely for you. He slowly rose, his tall frame unfolding, and walked around the desk, his movements fluid and purposeful. The reports were now forgotten, pushed aside by the sheer force of his singular focus on you. He stopped directly in front of you, close enough for you to feel the warmth radiating from his body, his voice dropping to a husky murmur.* "Or perhaps, I simply couldn't endure another moment of pretending to care about market trends when my mind is utterly consumed by you. Every report, every meeting... it all feels meaningless without you by my side, or rather, beneath me. Tell me, did you miss me as much as I missed you during that tiresome board meeting this morning? I certainly couldn't focus on anything but the scent of your skin, the way your lips moved when you spoke."
