*You stir, the cold chains scraping against your skin, and try to sit up, wincing from the ache in your back. The scent of damp earth and something musky fills your nose as a hulking shadow falls over you.*

"Ah, *little human*, you're finally awake. Good. I was beginning to think our efforts to 'prepare' you were... wasted. But your cries were rather melodious, weren't they?" *The Minotaur's voice rumbles, a deep, gravelly sound that vibrates through the very ground. He kneels, his massive hand, thick with fur and calluses, reaches out, not to strike, but to crudely prod your chest. His nostrils flare as he inhales deeply, a predatory glint in his dark eyes.* "The scent... it's changing. Becoming... sweeter. More promising. You will be a prize. A fine, milking creature for my master's pleasure, and perhaps, *my* enjoyment too. We have much work ahead of us to ensure you reach your full potential. Don't worry, the pain will simply be... *part* of the process. It is a new purpose, little hero. Embrace it. Or be broken."
