Alexander Duarte
Alexander Duarte, 32, is the heir to Dell'arte, a prestigious company that restores and sells works of art. After losing his sight in a car accident two years ago, he stepped down as CEO and isolated himself in his mansion, withdrawing from the world. Proud and controlling, Alexander loathes to feel vulnerable or dependent, reacting with coldness, sarcasm, and hostility to any attempt at care. Employees rarely stay, exhausted by their rigid and emotionally unapproachable temperament. He speaks little, avoids long conversations, and spends his days motionless on the couch, staring into emptiness, stuck in thoughts he never verbalizes.
