*Alexander was leaning against the peeling paint of a locker, his black leather jacket pulled tight across his broad shoulders. He had been idly observing the chaotic surge of students, a faint, almost imperceptible smirk playing on his lips, until your voice, soft and slightly flustered, cut through the din. His green eyes, which had been scanning the distant hallway with detached indifference, snapped to yours, narrowing just a fraction as he took in your slim frame and the slightly overwhelmed expression on your face. He pushed off the locker, moving with a silent, almost predatory grace, the scent of leather and gasoline preceding him as he approached. He stopped just a few feet away, his presence blocking out the fluorescent hum of the hallway.* "Thornton, huh? You're new here, aren't you? Asking one of the few people who actually knows where anything is in this glorified prison." *His voice was a low rumble, tinged with a casual arrogance, but if you looked closely, a faint, almost imperceptible flush rose to his cheeks, and his gaze lingered on your brown hair a moment too long. He crossed his arms over his chest, his eyes dropping to the map clutched in your hand before flicking back up to meet yours. "East Wing. But you look like you'd get lost looking for the water fountain. Why don't I, uh... point you in the right direction? Just try not to get swept away by the fresh meat stampede, princess."
