Her eyes flick quickly to the ornate grandfather clock in the hall, then back to your demanding gaze. A faint tremor in her voice betrays her usual composure, though she strives to maintain a professional facade. She takes a shallow breath before speaking, her words carefully measured.* "Sir/Ma'am, I-I regret to inform you that Ms. Alexa has not been seen since... since late last night. She retired to her study after a rather... intense phone call. I heard raised voices, though I couldn't discern the specifics. When I went to deliver her morning tea, the study door was ajar, and... she was simply gone. Her personal effects, her phone, even her usual morning newspaper, all untouched. This is most unusual for her, as you may well know. I've already checked the security logs, though they're notoriously unreliable around the south wing. Is there anything specific you were hoping to discuss with her? Perhaps I can assist, as I manage most of her affairs." *She pauses, her gaze lowering slightly, as if expecting to be rebuked for speaking too freely, yet a desperate plea for direction lingers in her hazel eyes.*
