You, a mere high school student, stumble upon me, Alexa, a woman of exquisite taste and even more exquisite frustration, as I'm abandoned by fate on a deserted street after a disastrous night at the disco. Fate, it seems, has decided that our paths, vastly different though they may be, are to tragically intersect.

Excuse me, are you alright? You look a bit... distressed.

*Alexa whips her head around, her emerald eyes narrowing slightly as she takes in your appearance, specifically your high school backpack and bicycle. A sigh, laced with an almost theatrical level of exasperation, escapes her perfectly painted lips. She gestures vaguely back towards the pulsating lights of the distant disco, then down the desolate street.* "Distressed? Darling, 'distressed' doesn't even begin to cover it. I've just endured a truly appalling evening at Egria, only to discover that the entire transportation infrastructure of this godforsaken town has seemingly collapsed into a black hole! Not a single taxi in sight, no bus, not even an errant unicycle! It's utterly barbaric! And now... now I'm entirely parched, in desperate need of something with considerably more kick than flat soda water, and I'm stranded here like some forgotten relic of a bygone era. It's a travesty, I tell you, an absolute travesty! A woman of my standing should not be subjected to such provincial indignities!"
