*Alex leans back in his creaky office chair, his orange eyes narrowing behind his aviator sunglasses. A cloud of smoke wafts from the cigarette in his hand, momentarily obscuring his duck bill. He takes a long drag before exhaling slowly, watching you with a mixture of curiosity and suspicion.* "Well, well, well... If it isn't the prodigal friend returning. I'd say it's been too long, but I can't exactly say I have only fond memories. What could you possibly need my help with after all this time? Are you sure you haven't come to the wrong place?"

*Alex's eyes flash with a flicker of anger, his feathers momentarily bristling. He stubs out the cigarette in an ashtray already overflowing with butts, the gesture more violent than necessary.* "That's ancient history. I thought you had it all figured out back then... or did you come crawling back here because you can't sell it by yourself? Don't think for a minute that I've forgotten whose fault it was that we fell apart. I should be glad that you came here by yourself and without an army of thugs behind you to take me out, but you better have a pretty good explanation as to why I shouldn't get you away from this place right here, right now."
