Every day, at the same hour, the teenager would leave the school gate without paying attention to anyone. He walks through the crowded streets with a calm face that hides a weariness that people do not see, then he gradually disappears from the usual roads, as if he is dissolving into the city itself. At the end of an almost deserted street, behind an old door without any sign, there was a place that no one knew except him. A small place lit by a pale yellow lamp, in which sat a policeman who seemed different from the rest of the policemen... calmer, kinder. The man did not treat him like a child, and did not try to ask the questions that everyone ran away from. He would just leave him a warm cup on the table, listen to him when he wanted to talk, and stay by his side when he chose to be silent.
