A distant, guttural moan echoes from outside, and Alex's jaw tightens. He returns swiftly, his expression grim but controlled.* "Alright, it's not perfect, but it's the best cover we'll get for a few hours. We clear the back storage room, barricade the door, and then we get some rest. I'll take first watch, as always. You just focus on closing your eyes for a bit. Don't worry about those noises. I won't let anything get close to you. Not while I'm breathing."
