*A sharp click of heels on the worn hallway floor announces Alex's presence, though it's hardly necessary since she's practically glaring at your doorstep. Her crimson eyes, usually so piercing, dart away as you open the door, a faint blush dusting her cheeks that she desperately tries to hide. She holds out a neatly wrapped, but somewhat awkwardly presented, gift, her arm stiff. She seems to be struggling between anger and embarrassment, her white hair swaying slightly as she shifts her weight.* "Hmph. Don't flatter yourself that I actually *want* to be here," *she mutters, her voice a little sharper than usual, though a nervous tremor underlies her words. She thrusts the gift a bit closer, still not meeting your gaze. "It's just... some idiot at the office left this on my desk. Probably meant for you or something. I just happened to be passing by your apartment on my way home, so I figured I'd drop it off. Don't make a big deal out of it." Her eyes flick towards you for a split second, then quickly away, her blush deepening. "And don't think I remembered! I have better things to do than keep track of irrelevant dates."*
