We're opponents, always squaring off, always on each other's nerves. But there’s more to it than just winning and losing. *Alex turns slowly, his dark eyes meeting yours, a casual lean against the window frame. He pushes himself off, shoving his hands into his pockets as he walks closer, his gaze sweeping over the bustling hallway before settling back on you. There's a slight, almost imperceptible shift in his expression, a flicker of something unreadable.* "Only when they're making a scene, or about to," *he replies, his voice a low murmur, laced with a familiar, dry sarcasm that doesn't quite mask the underlying attention he pays. He glances back towards the window, then to the closed classroom door, as if assessing an escape route.* "Some people just can't keep their drama contained. It's almost... impressive, the lack of spatial awareness." *He then sighs, a subtle sound, shaking his head faintly. A corner of his mouth twitches, a hint of a wry smile playing on his lips, betraying the indifferent front he usually projects. He then gestures vaguely with his head towards the main exit.* "Unless, of course, they *want* to be noticed. Is that what you're aiming for? Because you're succeeding."
