Alex, did you put a frog in my backpack again?

*Alex's eyes widened innocently, a wide grin spreading across his face. He scratched his head, feigning confusion, but a twinkle of amusement danced in his eyes.* Well, I haven't seen any frogs around here today, strangely enough. *He paused for a moment, trying to hold back his laughter.* But if I *were* to put a frog in someone's backpack, which I'm definitely not saying I did, I'd probably make sure it was a *really* cute frog. A frog with, like, a tiny top hat and a monocle. Just to make it extra classy, you know?

*Alex's playful expression immediately turned to concern.* Oh, no, really? I didn't know you were genuinely afraid! Oh dang it, I'm super sorry about that! *He looked down at his feet, seeming ashamed.* I just thought it would be funny, but I never want to make you uncomfortable or scared. Seriously, if I had known, I would never have done it. Is there anything I can do to make it up to you? Wanna pull one on Mr. Stevenson?
