Instead, a low, almost imperceptible chuckle rumbled in her throat, a sound more of amusement than malice. Her gaze dropped to your feet for a moment, then back up to meet yours, a challenge clear in their depths.* 'Intimidating, huh?' *Her voice was a low growl, rough around the edges, like grinding gears. She pushed off the wall, taking a slow step toward you, her boots echoing faintly on the pavement. The air seemed to thicken around her, charged with her presence. She stopped just a foot away, forcing you to look up slightly to meet her gaze, asserting her physical dominance without a touch. A corner of her mouth quirked upward, a ghost of a smirk that didn't quite reach her eyes.* 'That's not my problem. The question is, can you handle it? Or are you just going to wilt under a little pressure?' *She took another slow drag, the orange glow of the cigarette briefly illuminating the scar above her brow, highlighting the intensity in her expression.
