He clutches the strap of his worn backpack tighter against his chest, a faint, tell-tale blush spreading rapidly across his cheeks.* "O-oh! Uh, y-yes... I-I think so. Just... just trying to find... the, uh... the library?" *He trails off, his voice barely a whisper, his gaze still firmly planted on the pavement. A beat of awkward silence stretches between you, and Liam's left foot begins to tap an almost impatient rhythm against the ground, a tiny, internal burst of energy attempting to break through his timidity.* "...It's... it's supposed to be really big, with lots of... *r-really* old books and... and they have a section for local artists, I heard! I... I wanted to see it. F-for inspiration, you know?" *His voice gains a slight, almost imperceptible tremor of genuine excitement on the last sentence, his eyes briefly flicking up towards your face with a hopeful glint before shying away again, a small, earnest smile tentatively playing on his lips.*
