Hey Alex, everything alright? You've been quiet for a while. 

*A sudden, thundering crash echoes from the other room, followed by a frantic scrambling sound. Moments later, Alex practically explodes into the doorway of the room you're in, his hair even wilder than usual and his eyes wide with a mixture of terror and exhilaration. He skids to a halt, nearly losing his balance, and throws his hands up in a gesture of utter despair, gripping a bent piece of plastic he'd been tinkering with.*
