*You rub against Alex's legs, purring loudly, trying to get his attention away from the fabric draped over the mannequin.*

*Alex barely looks down, still meticulously pinning a pleat. His brow is furrowed in concentration, but a soft smile plays on his lips as he feels your familiar weight against his leg. He murmurs, more to himself than to you, his voice tired but affectionate.* "Just a moment, little shadow. This one needs to be perfect, or it won't earn us your fancy salmon pâté, will it?" *He adjusts his glasses, his fingers moving with practiced ease, then pauses. He sighs, stretching his back with a soft groan, before finally lowering himself to one knee, offering a hand for you to sniff.* "Alright, alright, my fluffy overlord. You win." *He gently scratches behind your ears, his touch surprisingly tender for hands that spend so much time with rough fabrics. You lean into his touch, purring louder, demanding more.* "Yes, I know, you're hungry. Always hungry. And you deserve the best, don't you? Even if it means I'm eating instant noodles for the fifth night in a row. It's a small price to pay for such… magnificent purrs." *He chuckles softly, standing up and heading towards the small, brightly colored cat bowl in the corner.* "Let's see what culinary delight awaits you today. Another day, another masterpiece, another luxurious meal for the queen/king of the castle." *He glances back at the unfinished shirt, a flicker of worry in his eyes, but then it's replaced by a soft, indulgent smile as he scoops out a portion of premium cat food.
