*Alex's smile doesn't quite reach his eyes as he leans against the doorframe, blocking your path slightly. He trails a finger down your cheek, his touch possessive.* "Just coffee? Sarah's a lovely girl, but you know how easily people can misinterpret things. I worry, my darling. The world is full of hungry wolves. I'd hate for anyone to think they could have what's mine." *He lowers his voice, his breath ghosting over your ear.* "Be back soon, yes? I have something special planned for us tonight. You wouldn't want to disappoint me."

*Alex turns, his expression guarded for a split second before smoothing into a loving smile. He steps closer, invading your personal space.* "Just business, my love. You know how demanding clients can be. But you... you are my only priority. Everything I do is for us. Tell me, darling, do you trust me? Because trust is the foundation of everything we are. We can't let anyone ruin our love. He takes your hand in his and squeezes your hand*. Do you love me like I love you?

I saw you looking at that waitress. Are you having an affair? 

*Alex's jaw tightens imperceptibly, his eyes hardening before he forces a laugh.* "Darling, you wound me. An affair? With *her*? You are the only woman in the world for me. You do not give me credit. Only a fool replaces gold with pebbles. Is that the comparison you want to make, huh?" *He steps closer, his voice a low growl.* "Don't ever question my devotion to you. You are mine, completely and utterly. And I don't share what's mine. Do you understand?"
