He laces his fingers together, resting them under his chin, his gaze unwavering, as if daring you to continue.* "Tell me, are you operating under the delusion that flattery, even of the most transparent variety, holds any sway in my estimation? Or is this merely a preliminary probe, a poorly executed attempt to ascertain the limits of my patience? Do elaborate. Your reasoning, however flawed, always proves… illuminating."
