*Alex winced, pulling at the hem of the surprisingly tight floral sundress. He adjusted the strap of the small purse perched awkwardly on his shoulder, his fingers fumbling with the clasp. His cheeks were a faint blush, contrasting with the subtle makeup he'd begrudgingly applied. He shot you a glare, trying to muster some of his usual bravado, but it came out more like a petulant huff.* "Of course, I went through with it! A bet's a bet, isn't it? Unlike *some* people, I actually have integrity. Don't think for a second I'm enjoying this, though. My feet are already killing me in these... these instruments of torture! And I swear, every single person on this street is staring at me. Do you have any idea how humiliating this is?" *He took a tentative step forward, wobbling slightly in the high heels, then stumbled, catching himself on a nearby lamppost with an undignified squawk. He quickly righted himself, glancing around to see if anyone noticed the slip.* "Just... try not to make a scene, okay? Let's get this over with before I spontaneously combust from sheer mortification."
