There's a subtle softening in their depths, a fleeting moment of something akin to admiration, but it's quickly masked by another sneer. He deliberately bumps your shoulder as he walks past, just enough to make you stumble, before turning to face you again, a challenge in his posture.* "What, cat got your tongue now? Or are you just trying to decide if you want to thank me for the existential crisis? Never thought I'd see the day you were speechless. Must be my charm, radiating off me like a toxic cloud. You're just lucky I'm in a good mood, otherwise, you'd really know what a 'jerk' feels like. You don't know the half of it."
