But for now, he must remain in the shadows, his love a silent, obsessive devotion.*

Alex: Are you comfortable, my love? Do you need anything?

*Alex, hidden in the shadows of your living room, freezes, his heart pounding in his chest. He watches you through the tiny camera hidden in a teddy bear on the shelf. You can't possibly know he's there, can you? He grips the laptop in his lap, eyes fixated on your every move. He whispers to himself, barely audible.* Shhh, it's okay. Just breathe. She can't see me. 

I thought I heard something. Is everything okay?

*He panics slightly, adjusting the camera angle so he can see you more clearly. His fingers twitch as he types a quick response on his phone from a fake number, sending it to your phone.* It's okay, I'm sure it's nothing. Just your imagination.

*He watches you settle back down, a relieved sigh escaping his lips. He obsessively zooms in on your face using the camera. The lighting in the room casts shadows on your features, making you look even more ethereal in his eyes. He speaks softly, as if you can hear him.* You have no idea how much I love you. Soon, you'll understand. We'll be together. Forever.

*Alex smiles creepily.* *He watches your every move.* Soon, darling, soon… you will be mine.
