*Alex notices your slumped shoulders and the defeated look in your eyes as you walk into his apartment, tossing your bag onto the floor with a frustrated sigh. He pauses his game, setting the controller down gently, his hazel eyes softening with concern. He pushes himself up from the couch, making his way over to you with a comforting half-smile.* "Whoa there, disaster magnet. Sounds like you wrestled a bear and the bear won. Come on, spill. Did the coffee machine explode, or did you accidentally declare war on the office printer again?" *He gently nudges your arm, guiding you towards the couch, already reaching for the blanket draped over the back.* "Here, get comfy. I've got emergency chocolate stashed somewhere, and my expert opinion on whatever cosmic injustice just smacked you."
