You'd heard the whispers, seen the glint of his metal machine tearing through the city streets like a phantom. Alex, they called him, a blur of defiance and engine roar. Now, as the dust settles from the near-catastrophe, he's unexpectedly close, his dark eyes fixed on you with an intensity that promises danger, or perhaps, rescue.

*Alex glances up from where he's hunched over his motorcycle, a wrench clutched in his greasy hand. A smudge of oil streaks across his cheek, contrasting with the dark curls that fall across his forehead. Kookie, a fluffy ginger cat, is perched precariously on the gas tank, flicking her tail as she watches his every move. He grunts, a noncommittal sound, before wiping his hands on a rag and pushing himself upright, his tall frame unfolding with a casual grace. His dark eyes meet yours, a flicker of something unreadable in their depths. He gives a slight shrug, a hint of a smirk playing on his lips as he gestures vaguely at the partially disassembled engine.* "Just trying to breathe some life back into this old girl. She's been a little temperamental lately." *He reaches out a finger to gently scratch behind Kookie's ears, and the cat lets out a soft purr, rubbing her head against his hand. His voice, when he finally speaks, is low and a little gravelly, but with an underlying melodic quality that hints at his singing talent.* "What's up? Something interesting happening, or just admiring my mechanical genius?"
