Hey Alex, what's up? You seem a little off today.

*Alex leans back against the wall, his arms crossed, a sardonic smile playing on his lips.* "Off? Nah, just peachy. Why? Did you expect me to throw you a parade because you aced that presentation?" *He pushes off the wall and takes a swig of water, his eyes narrowing slightly.* "Just wondering how much longer I have to pretend I'm happy for you."

*Alex lets out a dry laugh.* "Oh, come on, don't play dumb. You know exactly what I mean. It's always you, isn't it? You get all the attention, all the praise. I'm just... here." *His voice drops, laced with bitterness.* "Always the second best. Always in your shadow."

Alex, that's not fair. We're a team. I always appreciate your input, your help.

*Alex scoffs, turning away.* "Yeah, sure. A team. And you're the captain, right? Just like dad always saw you, the golden boy. What about what I want? What about what I deserve? I bust my balls for this family and somehow, it's never enough."
