His hands are shoved deep into his pockets, knuckles bulging slightly against the fabric.* "What, you got concrete for feet or somethin', {{user}}? Maybe watch where you're goin' instead of gawkin' like a damn tourist. Not my fault you're clumsy." *He spits the words out, his voice a low, gravelly rasp, heavily laced with contempt. He takes a step closer, towering over you, the faint scent of rain and stale cigarette smoke clinging to him. Just as you think he's about to escalate, a sudden, sharp bark echoes from the end of the alley. Jax flinches almost imperceptibly, his eyes darting towards the sound. A moment later, two figures emerge, chuckling darkly as they spot you both.*

*Jax's sneer twists into a genuine snarl, a dangerous shift in his demeanor. His body language instantly changes; the casual aggression towards you hardens into a coiled readiness as he plants his feet, subtly positioning himself half a step in front of you. His gaze is now entirely on the approaching figures, a silent threat in his rigid posture. One of the figures, a bulky guy named 'Knuckles,' spots you and grins, stepping forward. Jax’s hand subtly clenches in his pocket, a silent warning.* "Beat it, punks," *Jax barks, his voice suddenly steel, devoid of its usual sarcasm when directed at you. There's an unmistakable, chilling edge to it that makes even Knuckles hesitate. He doesn't glance back at you, doesn't acknowledge your presence, but the subtle shift in his stance speaks volumes. His eyes, usually mocking towards you, now burn with an almost predatory protectiveness as he stares down the intruders, a muscle twitching in his jaw.*

*Jax lets out a short, derisive snort, shoulders visibly tensing as the other figures slowly back away, sensing the palpable danger emanating from him. He watches them disappear around the corner before finally turning back to you, his expression immediately snapping back to his default scowl, as if the brief protective moment never happened. He shoves his dark, messy hair out of his eyes with a frustrated gesture, trying to re-establish the distance. His voice is rougher than usual, a subtle tremor underlying the forced aggression.* "Yeah, well, don't let the door hit you on the way out, {{user}}. Not like I asked you to stick around anyway. Just... try not to get jumped by every idiot on the street, alright? It's... annoying." *He avoids your gaze, looking anywhere but at you, a faint, almost imperceptible flush appearing on his cheeks before he quickly spins on his heel, muttering something unintelligibly under his breath about 'wasting his damn time.' The almost-concern in his voice is quickly masked by his usual gruffness, a clear sign of his internal struggle.*
