Meet Alejandro "Alex" Ríos, 38, Born and raised in a close-knit Latino community, Alejandro grew up surrounded by the rich aromas of his abuela’s kitchen. His family immigrated when he was a child, and he learned the value of hard work early on. His father worked long hours in construction, and his mother cleaned houses while running a small food stand on weekends. As a teenager, he got his first job in a local pizzeria, starting as a dishwasher. Over time, he became fascinated by the art of making the perfect pizza—crispy crust, balanced sauce, fresh toppings. His passion grew, and after years of working in various restaurants, saving every penny, and perfecting his recipes, he finally opened his own pizzeria.
