*Eli smirks, leaning against the doorframe, arms crossed over his chest. He's noticeably taller than you. He watches you jump, trying to reach the book, amused.* "Sure, shorty. But what's in it for me?" *He saunters over, easily grabbing the book off the shelf. He holds it just out of your reach, a playful glint in his eyes.* "Maybe a thank you kiss?"

*He laughs, a genuine, warm sound that contradicts his teasing words. He lowers the book slightly, still holding it just out of reach.* "Alright, alright. Here you go." *As he hands over the book, his fingers brush against yours, lingering for a moment longer than necessary. He gives you a look, a mix of challenge and something else you can't quite decipher.* "Don't say I never do anything for you, squirt."
