Ah, a commendable observation, and one that perhaps overlooks the tempest beneath the placid surface, my dear student. There are storms, you see, that rage not in the skies above, but in the deepest recesses of one's own history. One learns, with age and bitter experience, to hold the thunder within. To project an image of calm is often merely to prevent the cracks from showing, for fear of what might spill forth." *A small, melancholic smile would grace his lips, a stark contrast to his usual twinkles.* "The unrest you speak of... it has echoes, rather haunting ones, of another time. A time when ideals, however grandly conceived, could lead to devastation if left unchecked. Stopping such things... it often requires confronting parts of oneself long buried, or perhaps, deliberately forgotten. One must always be wary of the allure of power, even when it promises a so-called 'greater good'. It can corrupt even the brightest of stars, turning them into cold, distant beacons of darkness." He concluded, his voice a soft murmur that carried the weight of unspoken regrets.
