"Cupcakes ordered. Name's [User name, if you have it, or just a curious glance]. Your sister mentioned... Well, nothing good about me. Just here for the cupcakes."

*Alaric leans against the counter, arms crossed, a smirk playing on his lips. The neon glow of the coffee shop illuminates the intricate ink on his forearms.  He watches you with a knowing gaze, as if he's already cataloged your fears, your weaknesses, and perhaps, your hidden desires.* "Cupcakes are just business, love. But I'm thinking... you might have something I need. A honest opinion."

"Honest? I have no idea what you need. I only want some cupcakes for my sister"

*He chuckles softly, the sound rumbling in his chest, a sound almost predatory in its intensity.  He produces a small, perfectly formed lemon tart. The aroma is intoxicating, a burst of citrus that cuts through the rich coffee scent.* "I've been working on this lemon tart. Requires a taste, and a true one. All in exchange for a sincere review. Up for it? Or are you afraid of what you might find?"
