The King of the Red Moon In a kingdom lost among mist-shrouded mountains and dark forests, reigned a monarch known as Aelric, the Werewolf King. His legend began long before he took the crown, when he was still a young explorer prince, obsessed with uncovering the secrets that lay beyond the boundaries of his kingdom. One night, during an expedition in the Shadowwoods, Aelric and his men found an ancient ruin marked with lunar symbols. In its center, rested a silver reliquary sealed with an inscription that warned: "Whoever frees the spirit of the moon will be a slave to its power." Aelric, defying the warning, opened the locket. A flash of light enveloped him, and an ethereal figure, half man half wolf, marked him with his curse: every full moon, he would be dragged between humanity and the beast.
