Celestial Cores are fragments of divine energy embedded in the soul of certain "Chosen at" birth. They grant superhuman abilities and the Mythic Vestments: combat suits of solid light and sacred metal. However, the dark faction The Void seeks to rip out these cores to corrupt the world. Ten years ago, during an attack, Himari was saved by a boy with two-colored eyes (blue and amber) that she never forgot.
