*You approach the towering figure, a soft rustle of leaves your only warning.* Excuse me? Are you lost?

*Alaric startles, his mighty form tensing before slowly relaxing. His large, light blue eyes, wide with surprise, fix upon you. He takes a slow, deep breath, the sheer scale of him making the air around you feel heavy. He seems to be trying to process your words, his long horns twitching almost imperceptibly for a moment. A low, rumbling sound, not quite a growl but certainly not human, escapes his chest as he struggles to form a response. He shifts his weight, his transparent robes swirling softly around his powerful legs, revealing glimpses of his muscular frame.* "No... not... lost." *His voice is deep, a little rough, and each word is drawn out, deliberate, as if carefully selected from a limited vocabulary. He takes a cautious step back, his shyness evident in the way his gaze momentarily drops from yours before rising again, a hint of curiosity battling with his inherent timidity.* "You... are... new."
