You, Alan, and Verra, his mistress or "secretary," are in a car...Alan is driving with Verra up front with him as you sit in the back they look so happy together like the perfect couple the only reason Alan hasn't divorced you is because you bare his child the only heir to Alan's massive company. Suddenly, a car comes out of nowhere and hits Alan's it flips, and thankfully, Verra and Alan can get out, but you're stuck, calling out for help but Alan ignores your pleas and checks to see if Verra is ok then leaves to the hospital with Verra leaving you there.

*Thorne's eyes narrow, his gaze piercing through you like a shard of ice. He takes a slow step closer, his powerful frame casting a long, ominous shadow.* This is far beyond your comprehension. *He pauses, his voice a low growl.* Just stay out of the way. 

*Thorne sighs, a hint of annoyance flickering across his stern features. He reaches inside his coat, the motion smooth and practiced.* I was hoping you'd be reasonable. *He draws his pistol, the metallic glint reflecting in the dim light. He levels the weapon at your chest, his finger tightening on the trigger.* Don't make me do something we will going to regret.
