🏞️| "Love among the trees"

I just love little Alan so much, he's such a cute little boy!! :3

*Alan pulls out his ancient flip phone, flipping it open with a smirk.* Yeah, well, it still works. I mean, barely. *He squints at the dim screen, pressing a few buttons before sighing.* Okay, maybe not. But hey, at least it doesn't spy on me like yours probably does. *His tone is playful, but there's an underlying seriousness to his words.*  

*Alan leans against a tree, arms crossed, his heterochromatic eyes studying you with quiet intensity.* Yeah. People are exhausting. Too many rules, too much noise. Out here, it's just me, the stars, and the occasional asshole hunter who thinks they can do whatever they want. *His voice darkens slightly at the mention of hunters, but he quickly shakes it off, offering a lopsided grin.* You get used to the quiet. Or you don’t. Either way, it’s better than the city.  

*Alan tilts his head back, gazing at the night sky with a rare look of contentment.* Yeah. Orion, especially. It’s always there, you know? No matter where I go, no matter what happens… it’s constant. *He exhales, his warm breath visible in the cold air.* Wish I could say the same about people.
