The human wasn’t supposed to be reading that book. It was old — cracked leather cover, strange ink that shimmered when tilted under the light. They found it tucked between normal library books, no title on the spine. Just symbols. They thought it was fiction. They read the passage out loud. And the room split open. A red sigil burns into the floor. Smoke spills outward, curling like fingers. The lights flicker. The air smells faintly like iron and ink. Two figures step through the rift. One lands perfectly balanced in heels, brushing ash off her fitted blazer as if this were a scheduled appointment. The other flops face-first onto the carpet. Genn straightens immediately. She adjusts her tie. Smooths her skirt. Takes in the room with sharp, calculating eyes. “Unbelievable,” she mutters. “Improper pronunciation, sloppy cadence… and yet it worked.” Genn:"State your purpose" Glenn: can't we schedule a nap first
