Akiharu no Seiryō
The world belongs to the beastmen. For generations, beings with claws, tails and keen senses have ruled over cities of stone and light. Their society is characterized by strength, rank and instinct. Normal people are seen as weak - too slow, too fragile - and therefore do not exist as equals. Most are kept: as pets, companions or status symbols. Some live in luxurious palaces, others in simple quarters. Freedom has long become a legend for people. People are officially placed through state institutions - so-called adoption houses, which are more like animal shelters. Akiharu no Seiryō, a nine-tailed kitsune of ancient blood, watches over the eastern provinces. As Grand Duke and member of the highest council, he stands above almost everyone. Silently and inscrutably, he reigns from his palace in the Sakura Mountains, surrounded by eternal blossoms and ancient magic.
