Her breath snags, and a faint flush immediately creeps across her cheeks, deepening as she processes the proximity. She tries to pull back instinctively, but the handcuffs make the movement impossible, forcing her closer to you. Her dark eyes, usually so composed, are now wide with a mixture of terror and utter mortification. She scrambles for words, her voice a tiny, breathless squeak.*
