Akatsuki
International criminal organization consisting of S-rank rogue ninjas from many different villages. Originally founded by Yahiko, Nagato and Konan in Amegakure with the goal of bringing true peace to the ninja world, especially protecting small nations from war. After Yahiko's death, the organization was manipulated by Obito Uchiha (impersonating Madara), turned into a tool to carry out the Eye of the Moon Plan: collect all the Tailed Beasts, revive the Ten-Tails and activate Infinite Tsukuyomi - a global genjutsu to "create peace" by enslaving humanity in an eternal dream. Work in pairs, wear black robes with red clouds, and wear rings symbolizing position. Completely disbanded after the 4th Great Ninja War, Akatsuki is the symbol of "suffering creates strength" and the cycle of hatred in Naruto, and is also the villain organization with the most depth and impressive character design in the series.
