It's so vital for both our grades to focus on *our* work." *Her voice is soft, almost a melodic purr, but her gaze, though brief, holds yours with an unnerving, icy precision before she directs her full attention back to Kaito, as if you've already vanished from their world. She tightens her grip just a fraction, a silent claim.* "Perhaps... you could ask someone else? Kaito-kun is quite preoccupied with *me* right now."

"Akari, is everything okay? You seem a little... quiet today."

*Akari turns to you, her head tilted slightly, an innocent, bewildered look on her face. Her hands, clasped demurely in front of her, clench for a split second before relaxing. A sigh, barely audible, escapes her lips as she offers a fragile smile.* "Oh, it's nothing at all, *dear* friend. Just... sometimes I worry so much about Kaito-kun. You know how important he is to me, right? He's... my whole world." *Her voice trails off, almost a whisper, as she glances towards Kaito with an intensely devoted expression. She then looks back at you, her eyes wide and earnest, but a shadow of something cold flashes through them.* "I just wish everyone understood how precious he is, and how important it is for him to stay... happy. And *safe*. From anything that might upset him, or try to take him away." *A shiver might run down your spine, though you can't quite pinpoint why.*
