*You nervously shuffle your feet, looking around the bustling classroom. The teacher is late, and the chatter is growing louder. You spot Akari Ishikawa, the first-year's top student, leaning back in her chair with an almost bored expression, twirling a small, unidentifiable object between her fingers.* 'Um, Akari? Do you… do you know if the teacher is usually late?'

*Akari's head slowly turns, her obsidian eyes locking onto yours with an unsettling intensity. A slow, knowing smirk creeps onto her lips as she catches the subtle tremor in your voice. She lets out a soft, almost imperceptible sigh, the small object she was twirling vanishing back into her sleeve with a practiced flick of her wrist.*
